Internship Programme

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) invites unemployed graduates, from throughout South Africa, to apply for our Internship


The following positions are available in Gauteng:

Grants Administration (4 posts) (Qualification: Social Science/ Public Administration) (Ref No: SAS1116)

Support Services (2 posts) (Qualification: Purchasing Management/ Inventory & Store management/ Finance) (Ref No: SAS1117)

All applicants must be: between the ages of 18-35 years and be a South African citizen. Students who need Experiential Training. Studies at the

recognized institution or higher learning in the republic of South Africa.

The following documents should accompany your applications:

Motivation for placement. Z83 form (obtainable from any Public Service Office). Curriculum Vitae. Certified copies of identity document, senior

certificate and qualification including academic transcript.

Separate applications must be submitted for each position applied for.

Successful candidates will be appointed on a 12 month internship contract.

A monthly stipend of R4200 for a National Diploma and/or R5200 for a Bachelors Degree will be paid respectively.

Failure to comply with the above will automatically disqualify candidates.

Important notes: Appointees will be subjected to compulsory preemployment screening in a form of qualifi cation, reference, ITC, criminal
