Reservationist required for B&B– Centurion

Reservationist– Centurion
A bed and breakfast lodge/manor,based in Centurion, is currently looking for a Reservationist to start as soon as possible.
Salary: R9 000 – R15 000 per month plus incentives (Salary based on experience)
Must be based in Centurion – Prefer candidates who are no more than 20 min from Centurion

Requirements:
Matric
Neat and presentable lady – this is very important
Certificate in Hospitality or Marketing
Experience in working in a lodge, guest house or manor/hotel
Bilingual (Afrikaans & English read, write and speak)
Driver’s license and own transport essential
Experience with reservations and channel managers like Semper / Nightsbridge – at least 2 years practical experience
Good eye for details
Must be able to work independently
Microsoft Office – including a good knowledge of Excel
Very good knowledge of internet browsing and competitor comparisons
Knowledge of the hospitality industry and most important the accommodation sector
Knowledge of OTA such as Booking.com, SafariNow, Expedia, Travelground, Rooms for Africa, etc.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
Reservations
Sync Nightsbridge, Semper and Dropbox
Collect all Bar and Meal Slips
Capture Bar and Meal Slips
Conduct check Outs and print Invoices
Respond to reservation enquiries
Update Semper with reservations, payments, bed preference, dinner and dietary requirements
Print reservation documentations and keep Active file complete with Pro-forma/Invoice and Proof of payment
Update Excel Revenue report with reservation details
Supply Gate access codes to booked clients, visitors and transfer companies
Arrange transfers or other booking requirements
Confirm all reservations and gate codes
Manage, arrange and confirm all guest requirements/activities with relevant resources
Update and communicate white board’s changes with General Manager and housekeepers
File all reservation documents and Invoices
Follow up on outstanding Debtors and insert notes for Management
Manage Accommodation Credit Notes and their expiry dates
Update Monthly Financials with Income, Commissions, Expenses, Activities, etc
Manage Cancellations and ensure there’s communication to online agents, General Manager and Housekeepers
Manage Future Deposits – Keep in Contact with client
Conduct Check-ins and ensure Indemnity forms are signed
Communicate expected check-ins with all special requirements, with housekeepers
Update Petty Cash Schedule on the Monthly Financial spreadsheet
Keep track of stationary requirements, printer cartridge, paper, business cards and brochures
Ensure music re available and set at proper levels
Ensure that reception desk is neat and tidy at all times – No Loose papers, crockery
Ensure all marketing material is available and neatly displayed in reception at all times
Daily completion of time sheets
When General Manager is not on Site
Room Inspections when General Manager is not on site
Procurement of breakfast stock
Quality assurance on Public Areas, Breakfast setting and general Appearance of the facility
Financial Management
View bank account and capture payments in Semper and in the Revenue Spreadsheet
Update expenditure of Petty Cash in Monthly Financials
